Yuri Verizhnikov is a composer and poet, the leader of the children's pop group "U-class-show". He was born on November 5, 1950 in Orel. He graduated from the Orel Music College and the Moscow State Institute of Culture. Yuri wrote his first song at the age of ten for a patriotic song competition. He is the holder of the title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation". Over the years, he has written more than two hundred children's songs, the lyrics for most of which he wrote himself. The composer is also the author of several musicals.
