Russkie compositions sheet music and chords
"Russkie" (Russian: Русские) was a Soviet and Russian pop-rock/pop band that existed intermittently from the late 1980s until 2016. The band was formed in 1989 by Vladimir Kiselev, former drummer for the band Zemlyane. Gennady Bogdanov served as vocalist. The band released two studio albums, with their most popular songs being "Russkie yedet" (Russians Are Coming) and "Zhenshchina kotoroy aboyus" (Woman I'm Afraid of), and their song "Nu I Chto" (So What), which won the "Pesnya-91" (Song-91) competition. They performed in the USSR and abroad, collaborating with Dieter Bohlen and Blue System (1989–1993). In 1993, following a conflict between Kiselev and Bogdanov, the band disbanded. In 2004, Bogdanov reconstituted the band under the name "Russkie," inviting guitarist Dmitry Bolotov, drummer Dmitry Frolov, and keyboardist Dmitry Kiselev, but the group soon disbanded again. In 2010, Kiselev reconvened the band with new young musicians. On May 11, 2018, the band's official VKontakte page posted its final message: "The band ceased to exist in its current lineup in 2016.
