Renat Akhmetovich Enikeev (June 13, 1937, Kazan — March 13, 2020, Kazan) — Soviet and Russian composer. People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (2002), Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1987). In 1956 he graduated from the Kazan College of Music (theoretical and composition department, composition class of Yu. V. Vinogradov); in 1961 — from the Kazan Conservatory (composition class of A. S. Lehman, polyphony class of G. I. Litinsky, piano class of N. B. Retsker). Since 1990 — Deputy Chairman of the Board and consultant of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
