Pe Malou Werner (born October 13, 1960 in Heidelberg) is a German singer, composer, lyricist, author, and cabaret artist. Pe Werner was born in Heidelberg and grew up in southern Hesse. Her parents lived in Dresden in the former GDR until 1957, before moving to the Federal Republic of Germany. At the age of three, she recited Wilhelm Busch poems, later played roles including Polly in Brecht's The Threepenny Opera on the youth stage of the Martin Luther School in Rimbach, and has been composing her own songs since the age of 16.
