MC Miker G & DJ Sven were a hip-hop duo from the Netherlands. They consisted of Lucien Witteveen (MC Miker G) and Sven van Veen (DJ Sven). Their breakthrough came with the hit "Holiday Rap" (1986). It was a rap version of popular pop songs, in this case, Madonna's "Holiday" and Tone Loc's "Funky Cold Medina." "Holiday Rap" became a success on European music charts and brought the duo popularity. In 1987, MC Miker G and DJ Sven embarked on a large-scale European tour. In 1988, the duo recorded the single "And the Bite Goes On," but this turned out to be their last release.
