Ezekiel 25:17 was created in Omsk in 2002 as a solo project by Andrei Bledny, an ex-member of the Omsk rap group Mercury. The name comes from a biblical verse from the book of the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel (chapter 25: verse 17), which is quoted by the character of Samuel L. Jackson in the movie Pulp Fiction. December 22, 2002 in Omsk, the first performance of Ezekiel 25:17 took place.
